Working People United (WOPU) congratulates President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (PBAT) on his emphatic victory in the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primaries, where he polled over 10 million votes to secure the party’s ticket for the upcoming general election.
In a statement released by the National Coordinator of WOPU, Comrade (Prince) Williams Eniredonana Akporeha, the movement described the outcome as a historic endorsement of the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
“The votes of 10.9 million Nigerians cannot be an error ; they were earned through policies that prioritise the welfare, productivity, and future of the people ,” Comrade Akporeha said. “From our members in 8,809 wards to the 774 local government areas, the message is clear: working people trust President Tinubu to finish the good work he has started.”
The statement noted that the President’s pro-people interventions, including the Student Loan Scheme, support for small businesses, and efforts to stabilise the economy despite global challenges, have solidified his bond with artisans, farmers, transporters, and professionals across the nation.
WOPU reaffirmed its commitment to mobilising its over 70 million strong grassroots network to ensure the President’s victory in the general election.
“We are not just celebrating today. We are preparing for tomorrow. The 4+4 Renewed Hope vision is a mission that must be completed, and working people will lead the charge,” the statement concluded.
