Security operatives are currently repealing an attack on Jos Correctional Centre by yet to be identified gunmen that invaded the facility on Sunday evening.
Military Information Officer for Operation Safe Haven, Major Ishaku Takwa confirmed that personnel of the joint task force are currently at the facility to curtail the attackers.
The Jos Correctional Centre is situated in the heart of Jos City which not far to the Police headquarters as well as sharing fence with the Police Division A and State office of the Department of State Security.
