On behalf of the youths and the good people of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area, I humbly congratulate and felicitate with Hon. Segun Samuel Olobatoke on the occasion of his BIRTHDAY celebration.
Olobatoke is a man of the people, an achiever, a passionate giver, a bridge-builder, a philanthropist, a grassroot politician and an ardent supporter of the New Direction Government under the able leadership of His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the Executive Governor of Kogi State; his Deputy and Siamese twin, Chief Edward David Onoja; and the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Pharm. Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku, and all members of the new direction team.
Hon. Olobatoke through his empowerment programmes has donated several motorcycles to so many youths, and also empowered many artisans with working tools and instruments across Kabba/Bunu LGA and beyond.
He has also offered scholarships to many indigent students in secondary and tertiary institutions who are indigenes of Kabba/Bunu LGA.
In addition to his remarkable records, Olobatoke has also empowered many widows with funds to start-up small scale businesses which had enable them to cater for themselves and their children.
He has also offered employment opportunities to many jobless youths in Kabba/Bunu which has drastically reduce the rate of crime in the area.
Olobatoke had also recently donated relief materials and food items as palliatives to reduce the negative impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic in Kabba/Bunu LGA.
Well, the people of Kabba/Bunu are not surprise with the philanthropic and humanitarian attributes of Hon Segun Olobatoke towards his people, because he is towing the path of the leadership of the New Direction Government, led by His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, his Deputy and Siamese twin, Chief Edward David Onoja as well as the pragmatic Chief of Staff to the Governor, Pharm. Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku, who have individually made positive impacts in the life of the people of Kogi State.
Olobatoke has been emulating the humanitarian gesture of the trio, to the good people of Kogi State, and replicating the same gesture at the local government level in Kabba/Bunu and its environ.
On behalf of the youths and the good People of Kabba Bunu Local Government, I want to once again appreciate the leadership of His Excellency and his Deputy for the opportunity given to Hon. Segun Olobatoke, to have served during the first tenure of the New Direction Government in the capacity as the Senior Special Adviser on Sports to the Governor, during which he justified his appointment by serving effectively and efficiently while ensuring that the blueprint of the New Direction Government was achieved.
We have no doubt in our heart and with all convictions that our dynamic and pragmatic leader and grassroot mobiliser, Hon Segun Olobatoke, will perform much more better than he did in his previous assignment as SSA, if given the privilege again to serve his people and the state at large in any capacity.
Once again we say Congratulations to the man of ethics and values, a leader, a mentor, a builder, a philanthropist and a patriotic politician per excellence, Hon Segun Samuel Olobatoke, as you added another glorious year to your fruitful years today.
