The 27th day in the month of August of every year would always be remembered in the life of Pastor (Dr.) Folashade Arike Ayoade and the family in general. She is a technocrat turned politician, a philanthropist of no small means as she marks the beginning of another beautiful and hilarious year on the planet earth today.
Today should be an occasion to thank God almighty for His provision, protection, care and support for a forthright and loving mother who is known for her kindness to her fellow beings. Let it be known that whatever she might have achieved in life is truly from God and not from any man.
She has excelled in all spheres of life and she has contributed her bits to the development of her community, lfe-Olukotun, Kogi state and Nigeria in general.
Pastor (Mrs.) Ayoade is unique and stupendous, who has a crystal-clear vision for her people and Kogi state. She knows the needs of her people and also identifies with their problems, she takes her time to analyse the various challenges and goes all out to solve them. She is simple to approach and easily accessible. She is a woman with many parts, who believes in team-work. She has acquired an enviable wealth of knowledge and experience which have helped her to succeed. She is a manager of talents and resources and strongly devoted to excellence.

Like many of us that happen to know Dr. Folashade Arike Ayoade before this time, will always acknowledge the fact that she is a specially made individual by God to help humanity. There are many things you cannot take away from Mrs. Ayoade Ph.D., she is a woman full of positive ideas, vision and virtues, who is always working hard to be the best in whatever role given to her to play.
Her superlative attributes have endeared her to the youths, traders, widows, students, the high and low individuals across the state. She enjoys creating wealth and always encourages other to get them devoted to whatever profession the find themselves.
She is truly fired up by the possibility as well as the enterprise nature of the people. She relates to people as if she had known them all their lives. She is eloquent, brilliant, social, courageous, humane and multi-talented personality. Pastor Folashade Ayoade is someone who loves to inspire others for them to achieve greatness in life.
Whatever anyone may feel towards her, no one is likely to accuse her of lack of competence towards the task of developing and moving Kogi State forward. If anything, her critics are more likely to charge her for being too workaholic and committed to all round development of her state -Kogi through good leadership.
A welter of scintillating stories had been told about the breaking of Folashade, from a humane background into national limelight. All the way, her story has been smooth and yet replete with testimonies of daunting challenges which could have eclipsed her success, had she not learnt to fight her battle, like a determined soldier. Her school of training is with a difference, carrying out her activities, as she does with civility and unrivalled panache.
Great thinkers and innovators can sometimes be quirky and non-conformist but that’s where Folashade’s strength lies. As they say in the Star Terk Franchise, she often chooses to go “where no human has gone before.” Wherever and whatever the name Folashade Arike Ayoade is mentioned, what reality comes to mind are the unparalleled greatness, commitments, success, sheer determination, focus, dedication and hard work.
In a personal note, I want to appreciate and thank my boss, Dr. (Mrs.) Ayoade for her personal commitment to my family all this while. God bless you madam. I remember some years ago, you were part of my mummy’s burial ceremonies, I celebrate you today because you showed love to my mother, late Madam Janet Kokonikoja-Iledun Bayode in Ogoriland. The honour and support to me at that period of my grieve means much to me, that is why I am joining your beautiful family to celebrate God in your honour.
Finally mummy and my good boss, I spiritedly celebrate you on this special day of your gracious and celebrated life and pray to the lord to bless your new age. Have a memorable and smell birthday and rejoice in the Lord’s faithfulness.
Mummy, as you celebrate this your unique brand-new age today along with your beautiful family and friends, I pray that God who you serve will continually prosper you and your family. He will bless you beyond your imagination, keep you, and grant you good health and wisdom to carry on.
