The Forum of Permanent Secretaries of Kogi State has extended its sincere appreciation to His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, for the timely disbursement of leave bonuses to civil servants across the state.

In a statement issued by Elder Sunday Odeh, Chairman of the Forum, and Momoh Aziz Steven, Secretary of the Forum, it was emphasized that this generous gesture provides much-needed relief to the dedicated civil servants who have consistently demonstrated their commitment to serving the state with diligence and integrity.

The Forum further highlighted that the payment of leave bonuses reflects Governor Ododo’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of civil servants.

This initiative, they noted, not only boosts the morale of the workforce but also serves as a powerful motivator for them to continue their service with renewed vigor and enthusiasm.

They added that such actions exemplify the Governor’s dedication to the well-being of Kogi State’s hardworking civil servants.

“Additionally, we commend the Head of Civil Service for his transformative agenda aimed at repositioning the Kogi State Civil Service. His exemplary leadership and commitment to reforming the civil service are commendable and deserving of recognition.”

“We urge the government to maintain its focus on acknowledging and rewarding the hard work and dedication of its employees, as this will foster a culture of excellence and commitment within the civil service.”
