A Director of finance, Ministry of Local Government and chieftaincy Affairs in kogi state, Hon. Abdulraheem Sanni has assured that, Governor Yahaya Bello would be victorious at the supreme Court come 31st August, 2020.
Hon Sanni’s assurance was coming shortly after the justices of the Nigeria apex court reserved ruling on the petitions of the candidates of the Peoples Democratic party, (PDP), Social Democratic party, (SDP) one other was heard on Tuesday, in Abuja.
The justices of the supreme Court, haven heard from appelants, the 1st, 2nd and third respondents, adjourned till the 31st of August for judgement.
In a statement personally signed by Hon. Sanni, he described Governor Bello as a very focused and serious minded leader who is passionate about the development of the state and well-being of the citizenry.
While enumerating the achievements of Governor Bello in his first tenure, the seasoned accountant said his achievements in the area of security of lives and property, health, education and human capital development is unparalleled.
He recalled that, the recent signing of the bill for the establishment of the Confluence university of Science and technology, Osara into law, has further confirmed the governor’s determination to the training of skilled manpower that can compete favourably with their counterparts in the labour market.
He noted that the positive verdict of the apex court next week would only ginger him to do more for the people of the state.
According to him, Governor Bello has also raised the standard of agriculture in the state with the establishment of the Ejigba rice mill, which he said has provided hundreds of employment opportunity for youths in the state.
He added that Governor Bello has equally united the various ethnic groups in the state through his appointments and even distribution of development projects across the three Senatorial districts of the state.
He called on the people of Ajaokuta Local Government and the state in general to continue to give the governor the needed support, so that he can achieve his lofty dream for a better and prosperous kogi state.
