Dr. Y. B. Usman, Rector, the Federal Polytechnic, Idah has congratulated Rt.Hon ADETOPE Ademiluyi ,Chairman, Governing Council of the institution on the occasion of his 60th birthday.
Dr. Y. B. Usman, describing him as a courageous leader, administrator, term player and an accomplished politician whose contribution to the development of the Federal Polytechnic, Idah since his appointment remain indelible.
In a statement made available to pressmen by the Head, Public Relations and Protocol, Mr. S.S Omale, the Rector extolled the Chairman for his sacrifice and patriotic commitment.

Usman, “Happy 60th birthday to the chairman of the Governing Council, the Federal Polytechnic, Idah,on this milestone birthday, we celebrate your leadership dedication and contributions to our institution, may this day be filled with joy, love and reflection on the impact you ‘ve made, Wishing you many more years of good health, wisdom and fulfillment in all your endeavours.
The statement added that as Rt.Hon.Adetope celebrates his 60th birthday, the polytechnic community join his family, friends and well wishers in praying for him as he contributes his quota to the nation building.

LETTER OF CONGRATULATIONS
On behalf of members of the 13th Governing Council, Top Management Committee, Academic Board, staff and students of The Federal Polytechnic, Idah, I wish to convey our deep-seated congratulations to you and your family members on your attainment of sixtieth (60th) Birthday particularly on 23rd August, 2025.
Indeed, to attain 60th anniversary of one’s birth, the diamond age for that matter, is not a mean feat, which is why, we, in the Polytechnic, would wish to appreciate God like this: Ogo ni f’ oluwa to se ohun nla (To God be the glory, great things He has done) for you and your family, immediate community, church members, political or other associates and acquaintances. This is in view of the fact that you still have the health and vitality as well as the wealth of experience to contribute to the infrastructural development and growth of humanity.
It is on this note it bears to stress here what C.S. Lewis says that, “you are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream” and the words of Sammy Hagar that, “Every year on your birthday, you get a chance to start new”.
That is why we, in the Polytechnic, are full of expectations, that you, as you had earlier made known to us when you assumed the position of Chairman and keep stressing, that you will leave the Polytechnic better than you met it.
Moreover, with joy still in our heart, we pray to God for you, and all of us, to see and celebrate your platinum jubilee and other jubilees in Jesus name.
Once again, Hon. Chairman, sir, congratulations and age gracefully, please.
