The Obaro of Kabba and Chairman, Okun Traditional Council, Oba Solomon Dele Owoniyi has approved the immediate appointment of a veteran and versatile journalist, Mr Tunde Ipinmisho as the Honorary Technical Adviser on Media & Publicity to the Obaro-in-Council.
This was contained in a press statement issued by the High Chief Joseph Ojo Oshagbemi Head, Media Team Obaro- in-Council which copy was available to newsmen in Lokoja on Tuesday.
Ipinmisho, a Fellow of the Nigerian Guild of Editors (FNGE) is the Chief Executive Officer of Ambienceblue Communications Ltd, an integrated marketing communications outfit based in Abuja.
He is a former Editor of the _Sunday Times_ (1998-2004) and former Head, Corporate Communications, Federal Housing Authority (FHA).
Ipinmisho has put 40 years into the electronic and print media as well as corporate communications, beginning with the stint at the Nigerian Television Authority, Minna from 1981 to 1989, rising to the position of Principal Editor before joining the _Daily Times_ in 1989.
At the Daily Times he was at various times Group News Editor, Deputy Editor of the _Daily Times_ and Editor, _Sunday Times_ before he bowed out to join the communication team of the Federal Housing Authority (FHA) in 2005.
Ipinmisho was in 2007, named the team lead with the title of Head, Corporate Communications, a position he held till his retirement in 2017.
He had his training at the University of Ibadan, the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, Lagos and the International Centre for Journalism (ICFJ), Washington DC, United States of America.
A consummate community development enthusiast, Ipinmisho was the National President, Ogidi Development Union (ODU) between 2006-2017, following which he has held the position of Director-General, Ogidi Day Festival till date.
