The much expected local government election in Kogi State is done and dusted. I want to specially appreciate the people of the State for the support given to the State Independent Electoral Commission (SIEC) to conduct the Chairmanship and Councillorship elections without crises.
I equally appreciate the Political Parties for their unflinching loyalty; without you, not much would have been achieved. Our traditional fathers have done greatly well and as such, they are appreciated.
The Civil Society Organisations played a major role, we are indebted to you. The Security Agencies did marvellously well too, no wonder it was hitch free.
The Members of the 4th Estate of the Realm, your contribution to the success of the December 12th Polls is second to none.
Finally, we thank the Government of Kogi State for the support in making the election hold as scheduled. For the elected politicians, we pray for a successful tenure.
We look forward to everyone having a blessed yuletide season.
