The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)Kogi State Chapter has warned banks in the state not to grant Gov. Yahaya Bello any loan between now and November, reiterated that the administration has reached its expiry date.
The PDP in a statement signed by Bode Ogunmola, State Publicity Secretary of the party, said following his widespread rejection, Gov. Bello will finally park his load from Lugard House, disclosed that it is aware of plans by the present administration to access another N30 billion loan from a new generation bank located in the state.
The PDP said any bank that gives Gov. Yahaya Bello loan in the name of Kogi State does that at their own risk, warning that the party would audit every transaction, cautioned the banks to beware.
The PDP lamented that the state under Gov. Yahaya Bello is currently indebted to the tune of about N200 billion, lamented that this is outside the bailout funds, Paris Club Refunds, and N138 billion statutory allocation the received since the coming of the present administration.
The PDP lamented that inspite all the state’s indebtedness, the administration has not initiated and commission any projects, described the APC led administration as one on a looting voyage.
The PDP assured the people of the state that every looted funds from the state by the present administration would be recovered, warned the banks of further giving out loans to the Gov. Bello’s administration.
