The Kogi state Deputy Governor, Edward Onoja has described the Mountain of Fire Ministry as a place where the Almighty God is working for the Deliverance of his people from the shackles of the devil.
The Deputy Governor made the disclosure on Sunday at the grand finale of the three Days prayer and fasting for the Deliverance for ” EGBOLA TA NE’E ANE IGALA held at the MFM North Central 3 Region, Regional Headquarters, Lokoja.
Onoja who confirmed the awesome power of God in the ministry, said he was in the church at one time as an applicant, as a chief of staff to the Governor and now as the Deputy Governor of the state.
He said , the programme wouldn’t have at a better time than now where the Igala land and her people have been under the yoke and influence of the devil with unimaginable happenings to the people.
He thank the Almighty God for his grace and mercies in his life Journey and urged all sons and daughters of Igala to redouble their prayer life for the emancipation of the people.
He thank Governor Yahaya Bello for his unflinching support for the Christendom, as he has remainded one of the first Governors to build a chapel in Government House for the edification of Christians
Ministering at the programme, the Regional pastor of Ankpa Region, Pastor Ibrahim Michael Bamaiyi in his sermon Tagged” Dangerous Solution Market” urged Christians to have absolute confidence in God in whatever conditions they might have found themselves.
Dwelling on the them’ Breaking Evil Family Dedication, warned Christians against consulting the devils rather to put their trust in God.
Quoting from the book of 2kings 1; 1-8 , he said God will not be happy for his children to consult the God of Baal instead of holding on to their God, saying doing otherwise will lead to the wrath of God.
He said this special program was put together by the Church, following a revelation that Igala land needs deliverance from evil family dedication that has slowed the development of the area and its sons.
The clergyman took turn to pray for the breaking of yokes, evil causes and convenant that have held the Igala land and her people backwards, even as many were delivered from chains of devil and were set free.
In a remark Barr. Agatha Adejoh Eleojo, Co-ordinator of the program expressed appreciation to God that with the divine intervention, Igala land will be totally set free.
She commented the Deputy Governor for honouring the invitation and assure the congregants that God will surely wipe away their private tears.
