People’s Democratic Party (PDP) aspirant for the Kogi State Governorship seat in the 2023 election, Dr. Bolufemi Olarotimi has declared that his goal is to rescue Kogi State from the shackles of underdevelopment and retrogression.
He said this during an interaction with newsmen in Lokoja. The business magnate and philanthropist wondered why Kogites continue to wallow in poverty with majority in penury.
This situation, Dr Bolufemi asserted was no longer acceptable more so as things get worse each and every day with no sign of abatement of the pain and anguish bad governance has inflcted on the people for close to seven years.
Dr. Bolu says that he is offering to provide compassionate, focused and committed leadership that will free the state and its traumatized people from the chains of inept leadership.
Dr. Bolufemi Olarotimi lamented that Kogi State is in the doldrums despite the abundant resources it is endowed with.
With in-depth understanding of the challenges facing the state because he is resident in the state, Dr. Bolu assured Kogites that he has a blueprint of how the problems facing the state can be resolved promising to tackle the developmental challenges the state is encountering and fix them for the benefit of the state and its people.
Dr. Bolu pointed out that if Kogites desire total freedom from leadership that has kept them hopeless in helplessness, they must overwhelmingly vote out the taskmasters that have fed fat on their suffering.
He pledged to lead Kogi State out of lack to abundance of all that makes life worth living. To rescue Kogi State from bad leadership, Dr. Bolu reaffirmed is a mission that must be accomplished; a quest that his aspiration is premised on.
As Executive Governor of Kogi State, Dr. Bolufemi Olarotimi promised social and economic rebirth that will lead the state on the path of sustainable development for the benefit of its people.
