Ahead of the forthcoming primaries of the All Progressive Congress,  Prof. Saidu Mohammed Onailo Ogah, says he represent a break from the past, promise that the state would experience a breath of fresh air if elected.

Prof. Saidu Mohammed Onailo Ogah, former Director General, National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), stated this in a message to party’s delegates from Mopa Amuro LGA of the state, says surprisingly all past leaders who failed the state are currently jostling to return or impose their cronies, urged the delegates and people to make informed choice in who governs them for another four years.

Prof. Saidu Mohammed Onailo Ogah described the forthcoming Kogi state governorship election as one that no longer a time favourable for people to watch from the sideline and allow the state be run aground, says amongst those jostling to serve the state, most of the present aspirants are part of the failure the state has recorded, warn against reelecting such characters.

He assured the people of the state of a new lease of life, where jobs would be created for the state’s teeming youths, lamented that the level of youths restiveness in the state is becoming alarming.

He assured that women and youths would occupy a vantage in his administration, says having failed to offer purposeful leadership, delegates and the people must break from the past and elect credible alternative, which he represents.

Providing the needed infrastructure in the area of education, health, roads and improving the state’s internally generated revenue would be his focus, solicited the peoples support in the forthcoming party primaries.

If elected, payment of salaries and pension to the state workforce and retires would be an area he would make his priority, says he has the capacity having excelled in his public and private life to offer purposeful leadership if elected.

Speaking on behalf of the delegates, Muyiwa Shogo Daniel, says they have no doubt in the aspirant’s credibility to drive the state out of the woods, lamented that the state has not faired well in the last few years.

He described Prof. Ogah as a veritable and most credible aspirant who has what it takes to place the state on a good stead, promised their support for him in the forthcoming party primaries slated for August, 29, 2019.
