The Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello on Wednesday picked his gubernatorial intent and nomination forms for the forth coming All Progressives Congress Primary election in Kogi State, stating that he is the best candidate that will deliver the party in the November 16 Guber polls in the state.

The event which held at the All Progressive Congress secretariat Abuja, the Governor revealed that he was picking the form in order to fly the flag of the Party eventually at the November I6 State Gubernatorial election

The Governor pointed out that although such event was not for speech making, as it was the season of more action.

He stated that his Government inherited a divided state which under his leadership has become a one united entity

Governor Bello revealed that in the coming days, his administration’s giant stride in infrastructural development would be affirmed as the state would host President Buhari to commission projects across the three Senetorial district of the State.

He promised that as the State was going into election, it would be peaceful and rancor free, as his administration would ensure the safety of citizens and residence of the State before, during and after the process.

The Governor admonished his supporters to give other aspirants the opportunity to pick their forms and not devoid them from participating in the exercise, such gesture he said would grow the party in number

He noted that it was such openness during the recently held election that gave room for the success which the party enjoyed.

He reminded the APC National Working Committee members that the Party under his leadership delivered Kogi State for President Muhammadu Buhari and 2 of the 3 senatorial seats, assuring that the third would also fall into place with a victory at the tribunal

The Governor further pointed out that the Party delivered 7 of the 9 house of representatives to the party, giving assurances that the other 2 would as well will be delivered

He stated that the Party during the State Assembly Election restrategised and by that swept all the 25 State Assembly seats such feet which has never been recorded in the State’s political history

Governor Bello further revealed that other members of the party who were aggrieved has so far been reconciled and the APC in the State was a one big, indivisible family under his leadership

He said that as against social media report, the Hadi Ametou group that were recently reconciled have withdrawn the case against the Abdullahi Bello Leadership thereby ending all concern of divisions in the State Party.

Governor Bello affirmed authoritatively that the issue of court cases were dead in Kogi State APC and all party have resolved to work together for the party’s success in the coming Elections.

He also promised that the conduct and process of the Primary Elections would be peaceful as every person would be given a level ground to participate.

The All progressive Deputy Chairman (South West) His Excellency, Niyi Adebayo on behalf of the Party presented the forms to the Governor amidst loud cheers from the Governor’s supporters.
