Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has met with executives and stakeholders of the party from Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu federal constituency, urging them to deliver Kogi State for the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the coming general election.

The meeting was not unconnected to the Governor’s move to deliver the Party’s Candidates at the forthcoming elections.

While welcoming the participants to the meeting, the State Chairman of All Progressives Congress, Hon. Abdullahi Bello presents the stakeholders as the ones that makes the work easier at the Grassroot.

The Chairman assures the Grassroot politicians that part of the Governor’s meeting is to interact with the people and have a direct access with the Governor.

He added that they have delivered in the past and He is sure they will work to deliver all the Party’s Candidates again.

While addressing the party faithfuls, Governor Yahaya Bello thanked the stakeholders for standing strong with the New Direction Government.

He assured party members of uninterrupted access to the Governor and the Government.
Bello added that a system is being put in place to enable the Grassroot politicians have direct access to information and program of the government.

His words “all the benefits from the government will go out from here and you all will be the first beneficiaries. All others will get their own benefits through you. We will ensure that you are directly impacted”.

Bello added that ” you have to be directly impacted because you embraced this government and you have worked for the party. We are doing the much we can do today by providing Security, infrastructure and as well as stomach infrastructure”.

The Govenror said “In Kogi State, We were able to deliver all of the positions from President to the Councilors both at the 2015 and 2019 general elections. We will do more by delivering 100% in the forth coming elections. By the Grace of God. The result we will deliver will be two times the one we will deliver at the forth coming election”.
Bello added that if anyone or group is claiming to support Asiwaju, they must come under the Local Government and Ward system. His words ” anybody dreaming that they will jump into the house through the roof, they are dreaming. Nobody will cause division among us here in Kogi State”.

Gov. Bello declared that those parading themselves as APC Family and Support Groups were nowhere to be found during the critical times in Kogi State sighting the days of Voters Registration and Party Membership revalidation where resources were mobilized to carryout the assignment both day and night.

Bello Charged them to remain focus and committed to the cause of the party. His words ” this is where you have worked, this is where you have sacrificed and this is where you will reap the fruit of your labour”.

The governor passionately appealed to the stakeholders to resist any form of intimidation from any corner.

He maintained that He won’t allow anyone to come into his territory to intimidate his followers.
