A former member of the Governing Council, Federal Polytechnic Idah , representing the community, Chief Abdullahi Ohioma has been console by the Rector of the Institution, Dr. Y. B. Usman, over the death of his wife Hajia Rahmatu Ali Ohioma.
The Rector, who lead other Top Management Committee members of the Polytechnic to Ankpa where she was buried, described her death as a shock and a big lost to the entire family. Noting that ” she was a woman with a heart of gold, who sacrifices are equal to non and was a loving mother”.
He prayed Allah accept and grant her peace in heaven.
The decease passed on after a brief illness in Abuja on 26th August,2025 and was buried according to Islamic rite at her home town , Ankpa the next day.
Present at the burial ceremony were ,the immediate past Rector, of the Federal Polytechnic Idah, Dr.D.D.Baba, Ag.Dir.Procurement, immediate past Ag. Bursar another others .
