I received with deep sorrow the news of the passing of Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani Ododo, the beloved father of our Governor, Chief Servant Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, and patriarch of the respected Ododo family.
Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani Ododo was more than a father; he was a symbol of guidance, compassion, and integrity in his community. His legacy of grooming a humble, loyal, and service-driven Governor will remain a beacon of inspiration to many in Kogi state and beyond.
My thoughts and prayers are with our Governor, his entire family and kogi state at large during this difficult time.
May the Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings, expand his grave, and admit him into Aljannatul Firdaus. May He also grant the family the strength and patience to bear this painful loss.
