The wife of the Member representing Omala state constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly, Mrs Joan Collins Musa has embarked on a door to door campaign for the election of governor Yahaya Bello for second term in the 16th November, 2019 Gubernatorial election.
In accompaniment of various group heads and highly positioned women in the ward, Mrs Joan Collins, through the door to door campaign combed the entire Bagaji ward in Omala LGA of Kogi State preaching the GYB/CEDO gospel. In each compound, after emphasising the need to vote APC, she urged the women to continue the campaign neighbour to neighbour.
Various women groups from Bagaji ward, who throng out in their multitudes to welcome her, were elated and filled with joy as they said it was the first time they had seen an Assembly member’s wife at their doorsteps.
The women particularly commended her womanly approach in canvassing votes for APC which won their hearts and that the precedents set by Hon Collins Musa should be maintained
The door2door campaign witnessed the porting back of some vibrant APC women who were brainwashed into the opposition, PDP, came back home, promising to work harder for the election of Yahaya Bello and his running mate, Chief Edward David Onoja in the gubernatorial election slated for this weekend.
As the electioneering towards November 16, 2019 hits its peak, things are getting clearer and it is now obvious that the GYB/CEDO candidature will coast to victory.
Bagaji ward has fourteen polling units. Villages in the ward include Bagaji, Udaba Ajenebi, Ajadapoja, Ajogili, Agojeju-Odo, Odomagwu, Ajokpachi-Odo and others.
