To ensure the return of Peace,Security and Engagement, Borno State Commissioner for women affairs and social developement,Hajiya Zuwaira Gambo has presented training module to women in the state.
The presentation under the auspices of NERI, USAID, in conjunction with Borno state government and others is billed towards guarantee uninterrupted Women Peace, and Security Community Engagement (WPCE),as the bane of social emancipation.
Mrs Gambo stressed the desire for peace , security and engagement for women in Borno state, as only panacea to life fulfillment.
She says the role of women in a peaceful, secured environment cannot be over emphasised,saying the women folk plays significant roles in a virile society devoid any unforeseen circumstances.
She commended the partners for the initiatives,while appealing for such synergy from other local and foreign Organizations,to return lives of our Women to normalcy in Borno state.
The Commissioner also salute the courage of the state government,for creating an enabling environment for such laudable initiatives and partnership, to the betterment of our women in the society.
The Women Community platform flyers was design by USAID and presented to Borno women stakeholders by the Commissioner,Hajiya Gambo Zuwaira.
