Contrary to critics position on the activities of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in Lagos on the pace of developement, alot has being achieved in the last 20 months, with the prevailing global situation of COVID-19 and the Endsars struggle for equal opportunities, by the youths that took another dimension in Lagos.
But undaunted by the natural phenomenon and bloody civil unrest on Lagos, Babajide Sanwo-Olu is bent on creating a new Lagos in all ramifications.
This had occasion the inception, inauguration and completion of 377 projects in and around Lagos, that had direct bearings on ordinary Lagosians to bring more developement back to the rural and urban Lagos .
In the last 20 months, aside providing the critical infrastructural developement of lagos state that covered Health, Education, Housing, Infrastructural, social among other desiring need of the people to ameliorate the dearth of underdevelopment, prevalent in Lagos before his assumption of duty.
Provision of pipe borne water, electricity, rural roads and other areas of attention confronting Lagos State formed part of 377 projects carried out by Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
It is on record that despite the deadly effects of coronavirus and it’s attendant consequences, the decision of the state government to domesticate the polices and programs to arrest the effects, shows the wisdom of the current Leadership of Babajide Sanwo-Olu in Lagos.
Even though, states are deep neck in dire financial quagmire and low economic activities,Lagos State perfomance was at a slight low in effects,as the enabling environment created by the handlers of the state activities had provision for any eventualties.
Matching words with action without much fanfare of media hype was the policy thrust of Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration, far away from the general impression of some persons of the high revenue base of Lagos State, yet with no visible projects to match the inflow of high revenue base.
Having spent quantum of it’s revenue base to address a well thought policy of the dreaded COVID-19 effects, that had reduce to the barest minimum the deadly consequences of the disease in the cosmopolitan Lagos State, efforts was also initiated to reduce to the barest minimum by providing palliatives to critical areas of Lagos State.
The palliatives which is inculcated in the 377 projects provided by the state government assisted in no small measure, in addressing the negative effects of the period of lockdown for many months of COVID-19.
Lagos State in the face of arresting the effects of COVID-19 was also confronted with the dire consequences of the civil unrest of Endsars, that took a very dangerous on the socio-economic and personal life of ordinary Lagosians, which resulted in loss of lives and properties ranging into trillions of Naira.

The Governor’s intention to take responsibility of the social services of Lagos State had been on the front burner with concerted efforts to bridge the gap of Endsars crises, that ravaged the critical infrastructure in the state.
At the depth of the second wave of COVID-19,the state government imposed immediate restrictions on some critical activities that involved Lagosians,as well as enabling environment to provide succour to heal Lagos State.
The haywire awareness policy through all medium of Communication, religious and other mode of communication will assist Lagosians to stay safe and adhere strictly to the protocol of controlling the spread of the pandemic.
This postive developement on the part of the state government will also sustain the idea and ideals of greater Lagos State, both in social, economic, political and other areas of addressing other pressing and emergencies like COVID-19 pandemic and ENDSARS.
The all round developement of the state government that had touched all areas of Lagos State is visible for critics attention devoid of sentiments, emotions and fair judgement.
