THE All Progressive Congress Director General Campaign Council, Bello/Onoja Governorship election, Senator Smart Adeyemi has advised the unning mate to the Kogi State People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship race, Barrister Sam Aro to resigned as running mate to the party candidate, Engr. Musa Wada.
Adeyemi gave the advised while addressing newsmen on Friday at NUJ press center, Lokoja Kogi State.
Adeyemi also called on Hon. Tajudeen Yusuf to resigned as Director General Campaign Organisation to Wada/Aro Governorship election.
According it is sad that Engr. Musa Wada who is the Governorship candidate of PDP will go to one of the private television saying the votes from Kogi east alone will make him governor of the state.
“It is shameful for some one who want to be a governor to tell the whole world that Kogi Central and west are not consiquencial to him during the election.
“It’s also show that Wada running mate Aro is not important to him likewise Tajudeen Yusuf the DG to Wada. Is he telling the people of Kogi State that the minority are not important to.him? so it means that the people of Bassa, Ebira Mosum and other minority tribes from Kogi east will never be governor of the state.
He pointed out that Wada who hardly visit the state was not intune with what is happening in the state adding that he was only out to blackmail and tarnished the image of the governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and his government.
He stressed that the people of the state have spoken and already taken decision that governor Bello is there candidate for the November 16 Governorship election.
He noted that the achievement of the governor superseded previous government in the state stressing that Bello has finally put to an end the issue of tribal sentiment among the people of the state.
“Those who ruled the state in the past go to there various town they failed to give the people electricity, portable drinking water and health facilities yet they still make noise.
“Bello is far better than the previous governors apart from late Prince Abubakar Audi who did exellently well while in government,” he said.
