The All Progressives Congress (APC) e-registration exercise is gaining traction in Okula Alloma, Ofu Local Government Area, as party leaders ramp up efforts to expand grassroots membership.
Hon. Ugbede Paul Joseph, Senior Technical Advisor to the Governor on Inter-Party Coordination, has urged residents to enroll in the e-registration process and become full members of the ruling party.
Speaking at a sensitization event in his hometown, Hon. Ugbede emphasized that party membership is key to community development and political inclusion. “The APC is Nigeria’s and Africa’s dominant party, offering a platform for citizens to shape governance and democracy,” he said. “Registering as an APC member gives you a voice and stake in your community’s future.”
The e-registration aims to modernize party records, boost transparency, and encourage youth participation. Hon. Ugbede noted that a strong grassroots party structure is vital for sustaining democracy and attracting development projects.
The drive is part of APC’s strategy to strengthen its presence and prepare for future elections. Party officials report increasing turnout and optimism about the membership boost.
Residents are encouraged to participate and own the party’s vision as APC consolidates its base in Okula Alloma.
