The All Progressives Congress APC in Iyamoye Igbopin Ward, Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State has expelled 8 members over what it described as gross misconduct.

The ruling party also suspended 2 others in a letter addressed to the Local Government Chairman of the Party and signed by the Ward Chairman, Amusa Sikiru.

Please find attached the ward’s Executives letters addressed to the concerned former members of our Party for the stated acts of gross misconduct.

You may wish to put our decision in the context of the hard work that you put into the electoral process on which we gave our support in other to ensure our Party’s victory at the 2023 polls, only to realize that there were people working behind the scene to sabotage our noble effort. In this vein, it must be appreciated that failure on the part of Party leadership to deal decisively with the saboteurs will encourage other Anti-Party operators to continue in the unpardonable misbehavior and dampening the spirit of Party loyalists.

Category A-Expulsion list:

1.Adeyemi B. Muhammed

II. Adetiba Rotimi Arole
