Muslim Women have been called upon to use the remaining days of the Ramadan to maximum advantage and make supplications to Allah.
They were equally advised to dedicate their time, especially in the holy month of Ramadan to worship Allah to enable them reap the benefits hereafter.
The Amira of Mothers of Jannah Islamiya, Hajiya Aisha Bello made the statement during the group maiden Ramadan lecture recently.
The Amira who disclosed that Ramadan is compulsory for every Muslim ummah charges parents to encourage their children to fast irrespective of the economic hardship.
In a lecture delivered by Alhaji Imam Mansur titled” Fasting in the Month of Ramadan during economic Hardship” said fasting is ordained for all Muslims faithful to enable them obtain piety adding that fasting is obligatory and economic hardship is not an excuse not to fast.
The Imam charged Muslim ummah to take advantage of the holy month and make dua to Allah to take away from the land.
Ustaz Abubakar Sediq in a lecture titled ‘A healthy marriage is a healthy family the kids are angry’ called on parents to always create time for their families to enable them to bond with their kids adding that neglecting family for business destroyed homes
Ustaz said neglecting family institutions always hurts children as well as the major cause of problems in Nigeria today.
He however disclosed that poor parenting is the major cause of the high rate of crime in Nigeria, and urged Muslim parents to always guide their children to enable them to make the right decisions.
The chairman of the occasion, Justice Umar Etsu therefore commended Mothers of Jannah for organizing the Ramadan lecture and advised all the participants to use lessons learned every day of their lives.
In a goodwill message, the mother of the day and former Register of the Federal University Lokoja Hajiya Habibat Adeiza advised Muslim women to be patient in their marriage and use this holy month to make dua to Allah to perfect their homes.
