
The Coalition of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in Kogi West Senatorial District has declared its unwavering support for the re-election of Senator Sunday Steve Karimi, describing him as a leader who has consistently promoted inclusion and delivered people-oriented programmes.
The group said its endorsement reflects the growing confidence of PWDs and other stakeholders across the district in the senator’s leadership, citing his commitment to grassroots development and the welfare of vulnerable groups.
According to the coalition, Senator Karimi has maintained an open-door policy that ensures persons with disabilities and other marginalized communities have a voice in governance and representation.
The group also commended the senator’s educational initiatives through the Sunday Steve Karimi Education Foundation, noting that the foundation has awarded scholarships and financial support to indigent students, including youths living with disabilities.
It further praised his empowerment programmes, saying constituency grants and financial assistance provided under his leadership have helped improve the livelihoods of vulnerable families across the seven local government areas of Kogi West.
The coalition reaffirmed its loyalty to Senator Karimi and urged residents of the district to continue supporting his leadership, expressing confidence that his re-election would bring greater development, inclusion and empowerment to the senatorial district.
