
The community of Kogi State Polytechnic has been thrown into mourning following the sudden death of three members of staff within 24 hours.
One of the deceased, identified as Mr. Anselm Ahman Victory Ojodomo, reportedly collapsed while delivering a lecture to students on Thursday.
The incident occurred during a classroom session, where eyewitnesses said the lecturer suddenly slumped while addressing the students, throwing the class into confusion and panic.
He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention but was later confirmed dead despite efforts by medical personnel to save his life.
Sources within the institution also disclosed that two other staff members died suddenly on the same day, although details surrounding their deaths were still sketchy as of the time of filing this report.
The development has left the institution in shock, with students and staff expressing grief over the tragic losses.
As of press time, the management of Kogi State Polytechnic had not issued any official statement on the incident.
