The GDPN Governorship candidate, in Kogi state, Mr. Dele Bello-Williams has said his Administration will empower Youths to become millionaires in Kogi State and that they will create a transportation and logistics hub to encourage trade and investment in the State. This will eradicate poverty and provide up to 15,000 jobs in one year.
This is contained in a press statement issued by the Campaign Manager and Spokesman, Steve Nwafor, who said the party is fully prepared for the governorship elections come November 16.
According to the Governorship Candidate, they are prepared now for the governorship elections in kogi state. “We have put all measures in place to empower over ten thousand youths as young millionaires and we shall realize it because it has been done before.”
The GDPN candidate stated that their grassroots campaign has commenced with full force. “We have done heavy digital campaign and now we are around in kogi state to communicate with the grassroots”.
He added that the party also wants to highlight the key points of its manifesto on the Arewa Marshall Plan and producing 10,000 young millionaires in Kogi State, and uses this medium to invite the people of Kogi State en masse to the said campaigns.
He said that Kogi indigenes should give a chance to development by coming out during the campaigns to hear their manifestos and by voting for GDPN on November 16.
He therefore called on INEC and security agencies to ensure that there are order lines crises-free election in kogi state, and to also provide an enabling environment for everybody to come out and cast his or her vote for their preferred candidates,” Dele Bello-Williams said.
He also further said “I will again advise those that will want to disrupt the process to have a rethink because during the presidential election, there were few challenges in selected local governments in the State.
According to him, they need proactive security measures to address those pockets of challenges, to avoid a reoccurrence in the coming Election, he urged.
“We expect that the INEC officials would do their work without fear or favour and without being allowed to compromise.”
