OPEN LETTER TO THE HONOURABLE MINISTER OF STEEL DEVELOPMENT

Honourable Minister Sir,
We write to congratulate you on your successful consideration to continue in office as Minister of Steel Development by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR. Almighty ALLAH will see you through, Amin.
Sir, as the Director-General of ODODO/OYIBO GOVERNORSHIP CAMPAIGN COUNCIL 2023, we want to seek for your intervention with Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for the payment of our outstanding salaries.
We are Political Appointees under the administration of former Governor Captain Idris Wada between 2012 to 2016. Before we left office, Four Months salaries was not paid. We pleaded with former Governor Yahaya Bello and he gave approval for the payment of ONE MONTH remaining THREE MONTHS.
It is important to recall that our FORUM fully participated in the ELECTION and VICTORY of ODODO-JOEL as Governor and Deputy Governor of Kogi State respectively.
Honourable Minister Sir, since it is not possible to consider everyone for appointment, we are pleading with the Governor to please consider the PAYMENT of our outstanding salaries as another method to appreciate our participation.
Honourable Minister Sir, it is an understatement to say that we have BILLS to pay. We can no longer perform our domestic responsibilities at this hard time.
Kindly intercedes on our behalf for posterity sake.
