Kogi State Government has expressed dissatisfaction with the slow pace of work on the Odenyi -Oguma- Sheria road and bridge construction project.

The Kogi State Commissioner for Works, Hon. Engr Mohammed Ahovi Yusuf who was at Oguma in Bassa local government area of the state expressed dissatisfaction with the level of work during an inspection visit of the project.

Hon. Yusuf who frowned at the lack of professionalism and lackadaisical attitude on the part of the contractor said that the project had been stalled for a long time.

The Transition Committee Chairman, of Bassa Local Government, Mr Theophilus Adama who appreciated the state government for the project berated the slow pace of work and appealed to the government to facilitate the completion of the project.

Also, an indigene of the area, Comrade Dangara Daniel commended the state government for the visit and requested the government to intensify efforts and ensure that the project was completed within a short period.
