Nothing Is Bad In Riding Keke – Obasanjo

The tricycle popularly known as Keke Napepe is one of the modern means of transportation in Nigeria. Youths including graduates, are using it to earn a living.
However, Vanguard reported that “the former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, yesterday, rode a tricycle in demonstration of the safety of the means of transportation just as he urged youths to embrace every opportunity with hard work and dedication.” Recall that Obasanjo recently distributed 85 tricycles to commemorate his 85th birthday.
Obasanjo’s decision to ride a tricycle is commendable, it will help to reduce unemployment because youths who are yet to secure a White cola job could venture into the business. Youth should engage in agriculture and other businesses to avoid dependence on the government.
Government should provide loan facilities for the youths and genuine farmers to encourage large-scale production. Also, the government should establish more industries to cater to the populace who are hitherto dependent.
