A lot of people might not know this but there’s a Mosque named Jesus Christ Son of Mary, and it is located in Krinyaga county, Kenya, and In this article I will tell you few things you should know about the Mosque.
It happened after a serious problem between the Christians and the Muslims over the search of land to site the mosque.
Recall that on the 25th day of September, 1985, the Muslim association applied to the commissioner of Lands to construct a mosque, and after several intervention, a bank deal was engaged to deal with the issue.
The right was later given to the Muslim community in 2020 by the local land and environment court.
The Mosque was named Jesus Christ Son of Mary in order to show goodwill to the Christians after the dispute.
The mosque was eventually opened on 4th day of July last year.
