Kwara state government said it has concluded plans to prosecute past officials alleged to have misappropriated the state resources.
The state commissioner for Communication, Olabode Towoju made the disclosure while speaking with Journalists in Ilorin.
According to him all those indicted by the committee put in place to investigate the illegal sales of government property will be taken before the court soon.
Towoju said the present administrations will put in place measures to ensure no public officer misappropriates government resources in the future.
He maintained that the state government is currently operating a policy that will enable the residents ask questions on how their resources are utilized.
He noted that Kwara state is seriously heal added that the state is not a poor state as it has all the resources

While Decried the moribund industries in the state, he said “how do we talk about the future if we don’t talk about the past”
While highlighted the achievement of the the present administration, he said the
government paid counterpart fund and host of others.
