ActionAid Nigeria, a none governmental organization has called on all stakeholders in the country to join hands towards putting an end to violent extremism.
The organization also called on security agencies in Nigeria to be more proactive in addressing security challenges in the country.
ActionAid Nigeria Resilience Programme Coordinator, Anicetus Atakpu, , made the call on Thursday in Lokoja at a two-day capacity building workshop for 42 members of Kogi State Conflict Management Alliance (SCOMA).
The workshop was organized by ActionAid Nigeria, in collaboration with Participation Initiative for Behavioral Change In Development (PIBCID), with funding from Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund (GCERF), Geneva
