With regards to the upcoming election in Nigeria in the year 2023. It is quite certain that majority of political mathematician readily know that Bola Tinubu might contest for Presidency under APC platform, but his candidacy might be frustrated by Northern calculation, as they know that Bola Tinubu is a Politician who will barely settle for less. However, Gooodluck Ebele Jonathan on the other hand is someone that can be easily fall into Bola Tinubu’s camp for the fact that it was the Northern political calculation that went against his favour in the year 2015, while he wanted to return for his second term as Nigerian President.

You will recollect that Gooodluck Ebele Jonathan initially served as a vice President under Umaru Musa Yarudua until his death, and immediately after the death of Umaru Musa Yarudua, he became the President, and served for the remaining two years that was meant to be completed by his late predecessor. He equally re-contested during 2015 election, after serving from the year 2011 to the year 2015, but he lost the election to Muhammadu Buhari.

Meanwhile, 2023 election is an opportunity for Goodluck Ebele Jonathan to regain his political relevancy by pitching tent with Bola Tinubu who readily have existing political force and ovation. And it is quite logical that their candidacy and joint force will frustrate any Northern mandate, as they have higher chances of success compared to any other candidate. More so, their victory will make APC to remain as the ruling party, and there are possibilities that they might also rule for 16 years just like PDP did in history, as they ruled from the year 1999 to the year 2015.
