Report has indicated that the co-pilot who flown the ill-fated aircraft, Beachcraft 350 hails from Kogi State. According to the reports by the Punch, NAF pilot, Flight Lieutenant Ayodeji Olufade was a co-pilot to ill-fated Beachcraft 350 which crash landed yesterday, May 21, at the Kaduna International Airport.
The report says that, Flight Lieutenant Alfred Olufade is a Kogi born pilot who hails from Ayere community in Ijumu local government area of Kogi State. Olufade got married to his newly wedded wife in February this year, but very unfortunate that he died young, leaving his wife and love ones behind.
The death of Flight Lieutenant Alfred Olufade is coming after Nigeria loss her first female combatant pilot, Tolulope Arotile who is also a Kogi State origin in July 2020. Tolulope was killed in a car accident in Kaduna state.
This is so heartbreaking! May God Almighty console his immediate family, friends and colleagues. I pray that God should put to an end this premature death among our youths. Amen.
