Senator Sunday Karimi Steve, representing Kogi West Senatorial District has been recognized for his diligent service delivery and having shown strong political will and supporting key development projects in Kogi State, aligning with the current administration’s infrastructure and human capital investments in the State and beyond.
Senator Karimi has actively supported infrastructure projects such as road dualisation, rehabilitation, water projects, education and empowerment in Kogi State, contributing to State’s development that impacts both residents and road users.
Senator Karimi also played key role into the Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano gas pipeline, which is expected to benefits the state materially.
His backing of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration further increase the trust and development in Kogi State
Sen. Karimi has reaffirmed his support for President Tinubu’s bid for a second term, emphasizing the confidence of Kogi people in the current leadership’s accomplishments.
These efforts contribute significantly to his case for deserving a second term in the 2027 elections.

No wonder, the people of Kogi State particularly Western district argue that politics is about results and delivery, describing Karimi’s work and networks as evidence for a successful first term.
While some are on the view that serving Kogi West Senator should be accorded with automatic ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as to honoured him for his inclusive leadership and quality representation he has offer and still delivery at the National Assembly.
The general narrative praises Karimi’s efforts in delivering results for his constituents, calling on other National Assembly member to emulate his couragous and selfless leadership.
