The Senior Special Assistant to the Speaker Kogi State House of Assembly on Special Duties, Hon. Oniwaye Olusegun John Ogede 1, says Gov. Yahaya Bello’s Presidency in 2023 would also signal a legislative promotion for Rt. Hon. Mathew Kolawole.
Hon. John in a chat with newsmen described the efforts of the Speaker in drumming support for Gov. Bello’s Presidency as one that is in the right direction, pointed out that the reward for good work by Nigerians for Gov. Bello, should equally translate into more work in the House of Representatives for Rt. Hon. Mathew Kolawole.
The SSA Special Duties said the best thing that would happen to the nation’s unity and security would be for the people to elect Gov. Bello as President come 2023, disclosing that his efforts in uniting the State that is a miniature Nigeria and in making the State the most secured in the country remains unrivaled.
Hon. John commended the Speaker’s efforts in traversing the length and breadth of the country to drum support for Gov Yahaya Bello’s Presidency, urged the Speaker not to relent in the task until victory is won and achieved for Gov. Bello.
The SSA Special Duties described the Speaker as fit for a legislative promotion in 2023, said having done excellently well in managing and successfully piloting the affairs of the State Assembly, his experience would be most helpful and needed in the House of Representatives.
While noting that the next dispensation would be one requiring that Federal Constituency present their best in terms of experience, the SSA described the present Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly as a bastion of legislative experience, resourceful and with milk of human kindness in his heart..
