14 Passengers Allegedly Kidnapped Along Lokoja Kabba Road

Fourteen passengers travelling in a commercial bus have been kidnapped by suspected kidnappers along Lokoja-Kabba road in Kogi State.

It was gathered that the incident occurred on Monday at about 8am when the bus was travelling along Ayetoro heading for Lokoja but were kidnapped at Obajana-Kabba road.

According to the source, the suspected kidnappers numbering 5 were fully armed with AK47, barricaded the road, forced the bus to stop and ordered all the passengers to alert from the bus.

A commercial driver popularly known as Sapamo who could not escaped immediately he sighted the kidnappers was attacked by the suspected kidnappers.

In the last three months, the kidnappers have taken over the major high ways in Kogi State particularly, Lokoja-Abuja road, Okene-Lokoja road, Obajana-Kabba road and Itobe-Anyigba road to carried out their inferiors act.

Many innocent people have been kidnapped by the hoodlums, those who could meet up with the ransom were released from captive while those that can not meet up were killed.

However, all efforts to confirm the kidnapped incident from the Police Public Relation Officer, Mr. Williams Ayah, was not successful as he didn’t pick calls put across to his mobile by our kogiflame.
