A former Governorship aspirant and chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Prince Adebanji David Jimoh has commended the purposeful leadership and good governance of Governor Ododo whom he noted was the reason the ruling All Progressives Congress swept all the 21 LGAs, Chairmen, vice and councillors seat in the just concluded Kogi LG polls
The APC chieftain, in a statement signed and made available to newsmen congratulated all the winners across the 21 local government areas in Kogi state and their successful swearing-in which marks the commencement of thei tenure, lauds the Governor’s purposeful and results oriented leadership which he noted make the electorate to come out in their large numbers to vote massively for the ruling All Progressives Congress
“Your purposeful and results oriented leadership that you are providing for kogites are the reason opposition parties are losing members on a daily basis to the ruling All Progressives Congress. Everybody wants to identify and be part of history. This is the major source of our campaign and what convinced kogites to come out en-mass to vote overwhelming for the ruling APC
” Let me use this opportunity to appeal to all the winners to live up to expectation because the people at the grassroot are looking unto them. They must consolidate on the good governance of Governor Usman Ododo in their respective local government area. They can’t afford to fail the people
“They should see that they were elected to serve the people and not the other way round. They must work and collaborate with the Governor while discharging their constitutional duties to be able to provide the much needed dividends of democracy for the people
While congratulating all the winners and the good people of Kogi state for the outcome of the October 19th Kogi LG election and their successful swearing-in, it is my prayer that God will endow them with wisdom, courage and good health to pilot the affairs of the LGAs.
