The Senator representing Kogi West senatorial district of Kogi State, Senator Dino Melaye has launched an attack on Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State on Saturday describing him as a spendthrift.
It was reported that Govrernor Bello requested for a N30 billion loan from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
Dino expressed concerns over the intentions of Governor Bello concerning the loan.
Dino said he has written to CBN to deny the request of Governor Bello.
Dino described Governor Bello as a “squandermania and akotileta.” (a spendthrift)
Dino pointed out that Governor Bello was trying to raise money for his re-election bid in November 2019, this prompting him to seek for a loan.
