Sequence to our last publication titled, delay of Ajaokuta Steel Plant revitalization had attracted serious concern personalities and call for urgent attention thus; illustrate good leadership of present administration under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.
The Leadership of Iron and Steel Senior Staff Association of Nigeria ( ISSSAN), Comrade Ibrahim Audu Abdulrahman had been made to understand from the Ministry
1. The Ministry of Steel Development is working on conference, which will give a roadmap for revitalization of Ajaokuta Steel Plant, where all critical stakeholders will be invited including Union leaders.
2. Privatization process would be discussed on round table in the said conference to evaluate and establish the conceptualization of utmost benefit of dear country.
3. The Hon Minister has been in torch with critical stakeholders immediately after signing of memorandum of understanding (MOU) in Russia for effectiveness of Ajaokuta Steel Plant revitalization.
Verily, good Leadership is the ability to guide and inspire a group of people to achieve a common goal, while also considering values, interpersonal skills, and the commitment to collective success. Perhaps, some of the qualities include integrity, empathy, empowerment and communication. Above all, empathy and communication are our connected words of concern regards to our previous publication.
Empathy simply connotes being able to understand and share the emotions of others. This helps Leaders at all level to see things from other peoples perspective and find solutions that benefit everyone. While, Communication means, being able to speak with and listen to staff members, respond to question and concerns, and be empathetic.
Therein, no doubt it is a commendable style of Leadership under Hon Minister, Prince Abubakar Audu Shaibu for his steadfastness to ensure Ajaokuta Steel plant is revitalized in due course. The Leadership of Iron and Steel Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (ISSSAN), Comrade Ibrahim Audu Abdulrahman wish to say emphatically that we are focused and working assiduously to mitigate and create positive awareness and unwavering support for ministry of Steel Development and Federal Republic of Nigeria.
