Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Prince Matthew Kolawole has said that he will mobilize other stakeholders in Kogi West to build on the outstanding results of the Assembly election that produced the 25 members of the 7th assembly in the state to deliver a landslide victory for Governor Yahaya Bello.
He disclosed this in Kabba and Lokja during the APC thank you tour.
According to him, the current administration under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello has achieved a lot for the state, hence there is need for him to consolidate in the area of security, infrastructure development, education, health, civil service reforms etc.
He said the party is conscious about the people hence they deemed it fit to say thank you for their untiring support, urging them to continue to support the party especially before, during and after the forthcoming governorship in the state.
He said the outstanding performance of the party in the just concluded general elections is not without a doubt the result of the concerted efforts of a visionary leader like Governor Bello.
He said, they are left with no option than to deliver the governor as he has paid his due to the party.
Kolawole said APC as a party remain the dorminant party in the state considering the numbers of seats won at both the national and state level.
He urged the opposition not to waste their resources as there is no vacancy in Lugard House in 2020.
