We received with a heavy heart, the sad news of the sudden and untimely demise of our beloved sister, wife and mother, Engr. Mrs Hanna Funmilola Olumoroti, wife of a former Governorship Aspirant under the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC) Kogi State in 2015, Engr. Olushola George Olumoroti (OGO) after a brief illness.
Mrs Funmilola was such a lovable wife, a woman of virtue whose supporting role to her husband is monumental, why! Why! Why! Oh ye death.
Madam Funmilola was a great philanthropist and inspiration to the upcoming generation, she will be greatly missed by the womenfolk in Kogi state
It is very sad and painful to lose such a rare gem at her prime age when her contributions to the overall development of our beloved state is needed most.
It is a personal loss to the Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Prince Matthew Kolawole considering the family’s giant contributions to the success of his political ambition in 2015 despite they are not of the same party then.
We are indeed very sad over the monumental loss but we are consoled by the word of God that says, there is time to be born, time to die.
It is with grief the Speaker, on behalf of the entire members of the Sixth Assembly, management and staff of the Kogi State House of Assembly, wish to commiserate with and condole the entire family of Engr. Olushola George Olumoroti (OGO), Kabba community, Kabba/Bunu Local Government, Okunland and Kogi State over the demise of a great sister and wife.
It is our prayers that God in His infinite mercy shall console and comfort the beloved husband, children and other relatives she left behind, grant us the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Once again, accept our sympathy and condolences.
May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
