The PDP governorship aspirant in a statement said there is no way the APC can be extricated from the blame and untold sufferings the people are made to go through knowing fully well that the suffering was perpetrated by the APC and Gov. Yahaya Bello.

The PDP aspirant commended the courage exhibited by Dr Alex Kadiri and other APC stakeholders for disclosing in their petition to President Mohammadu Buhari that inspite of the humongous amount received as statutory allocation, bailout and Paris club refunds, salaries and pensions are still owed in arrears for about thirty eight months, with no visible projects to show for the amount accrued to the state.

The PDP aspirant disclosed that the amount received by the state as disclosed by Senator Dino Melaye leaves much to be desired, lamented the sufferings Kogi people are made to go through, but assured that if elected the problems would be a thing of the past.

The PDP aspirant described character as a veritable ingredient needed in governance, said the recent interview by the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, Dr Ado Ibrahim, shows that the next governor the state should parade must be a person of strong character and history, qualities he disclosed he possess.

The Kogi PDP aspirant called on the people of the state to be weary of who preside over the affairs of the state, disclosing that under the previous PDP administration in the state, it is on record that the party started the payment of minimum wages, with salaries and pensions paid as at when due.

While noting that following colossal damage done the state under the APC administration, the APC is certainly not an option for the state in the November governorship election, reiterated his resolve to offer purposeful leadership where every section of the state would feel the positive impact of good governance as witnessed under the past PDP administrations.

Alhaji Abubakar Idris used the medium to commiserate with the suffering workers and people of the state, assuring that their plight would soon be addressed with good governance, improved welfare for workers and infrastructure development across the state if by the Grace of Almighty Allah and the people’s support he is elected in the November governorship election.
