Under Tinubu Support Group Bursary Award, the Senator representing Kogi west at the National Assembly, Sen. Sunday Karimi is to empower 1, 610 tertiary institution students from Kogi East, Central in the state.
Recalled that a similar bursary scheme for 1390 students of Kogi West, has already begun.
A total of N300m is to be expanded by the Senator across the three Senatorial District of the State by Sen. Karimi.
Each of the students will be supported with N100,000 by the Senator to assist and support the payment of tuition fees.
The Senator in a statement made available to newsmen in Lokoja, the
bursary scheme is sponsored by the senator for students in Public Higher institutions is set to commence.
1000 students In Kogi East and another 610 from Kogi Central are to benefit from the Scheme for the 2025 scholarship exercise.
