Mallam Adam Abdulkareem of Kotokarfe, Kogi Local Government Area in Kogi State whose wife delivered a triplet via caeserean section at the General Hospital Kotokarfe has applauded Sen. Smart Adeyemi’s health insurance plan which has saved him from paying out of pocket in the Caesarean section delivery of his wife.
Sen. Adeyemi recently keyed into the adoption model of the vital contributory plan of the Kogi State Health Insurance Agency where some pregnant women from Lokoja and Kogi Local Government Areas of his constituency were enrolled into the Health Insurance plan.
Mall. Abdulkareem who said the triplets are faring well with the mother thanked Allah for the safe delivery.
He also applauded the efforts of Sen. Adeyemi whose vital contributory health insurance plan with Kogi state Health Insurance Agency have paved way for his wife to be covered throughout her antenatal care and delivery via Caesarean section without paying a dime from his pocket.
He appealed to other political office holders in the state, well meaning individuals, philanthropists, organizations and associations to key into the Kogi State Health Insurance vital contributory plan to enable the entire Kogi residents enjoy equitable access to quality and affordable health care services without sweat.
Meanwhile the Executive Secretary of Kogi state Health Insurance Agency, Dr. Aledare Adekunle said the programme department led by Dr. Yetunde Oyeyemi monitored the health care provider antenatal care and delivery of the triplets at the General Hospital Kotokarfe.
He thanked God for the safe delivery of the triplets.
Dr. Aledare applauded Governor Yahaya Bello for his timely establishment of Kogi State Health Insurance Agency to provide equitable access to quality and affordable health care services to all residents of Kogi State.
He added that the governor’s intervention in this regard will continue to go a long way in ensuring that residents of Kogi State reduce out of pocket expenditure in accessing quality and affordable health care.
The Executive Secretary also thanked Sen. Smart Adeyemi for keying into the adoption model of Kogi State Health Insurance Agency and appealed to other well meaning individuals, philanthropists, organizations and Associations to insure their loved ones into the vital contributory health insurance plan of the agency to enjoy the benefit package of the plan.
