The National Association of Polytechnic Students has honoured Dr Y.B.Usman, Rector, Federal Polytechnic Idah with the Award of Service as NAPS ICON OF HOPE 2023.
Comr. Innocent Okoh Egwu, NAPS Senate President who made the presentation today said that the award was in recognition of Dr Y.B.Usman’s commitment, dedication to nation building, educational development and service to students; adding that his outstanding leadership style is worthy of emulation.
Dr Usman in his response ,thanked the student body for the honour bestowed on him and pledged his support to them at all time,that the award will spur him the more in contributing to nation building and student development at all levels.
Present at the award presentation were Members of the Top Management Committee(TMC)of the institution, Comr.Buna Simeon NAPS National Secretary and Comr. Thomas Ogwu, President,SUG Federal Polytechnic Idah.
