Two communities have been attacked by some suspected Fulani herdsmen killing eight persons.
The two communities are Bagana and Patani in Omala Local Government Area of Kogi State were allegedly attacked over the night by suspected Fulani Herdsmen.
Also Several houses were burnt down, with unconfirmed report indicating that eight lives were also lost in the attack.
As at time of the report, anxiety is said to have gripped Abejukolo residence and its environs, as the Gorilla Fulani fighters are said to have Abejukolo, Obakume, Ogo and Oganigwu as possible next target.
Oganenigu community and environs has been deserted into various IDP’s Camp since yesterday night.
Confirming the attack, the Police Public Relation officer, Mr. Williams Aya said the attackers are suspected militia who invaded the communities, killing four persons, three civilians and a police man.
He said the police have however brought the situation under control.
