The Supreme Court sitting in Abuja will on Monday deliver the final judgement on Kogi state November 16, 2019 governorship election.
There are already discordant voices on the way the judgement will go.
All Progressives Congress (APC) members in Kogi state have predicted that Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello will carry the day on the judgement.
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members on the other hand have cited the case of Yesom Wike of Rivers state who lost his election case at the tribunal and Appeal Courts and won at the Supreme Court. In their conclusions, their candidate Engr Musa Wada will win at the Supreme Court.
However, the opinion of some people concluded that “what do you expect? There will be no difference in the judgement of the tribunal and Appeal, Bello will carry the day”.
Three of them however went the way of the clergy saying – “Our God who answers the prayers of the downtrodden will crown Engr. Wada as the governor”
The judgement is few hours away. Will the judgement alter Kogi political equation or will it consolidate the status quo? Kogi awaits.
