The Presidential Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party ( PDP) Atiku Abubakar, has said that prosperity does not happen by chance.

He said it takes the endowment of God, the right vision, tenacious pursuit, focused leader, and the harnessing of available resources for wealth creation and wholistic advancement.

This was contained in a statement issued on Sunday by Senator Dino Melaye Spokesperson and Director Public Affairs PDP Presidential Campaign Management Committee.

The PDP Presidential candidate said progressive vision is neither a function of the size of eyeballs nor height or the place of birth. It is innate and inherent. Atiku has all these in proved abundance.

His words, “Congratulate Nigerians on living through the year 2022 and crossing over to the year 2023. As we arrive in the new year, he enjoins Nigerians to embrace faith and eliminate fear. Good enough, the year 2023 offers all Nigerians the golden opportunity to choose a leader that can navigate through storms and bail out our dear country from its woes.

“Our dear country
experienced great progress between 1999 and 2015, though the debt profile was high the attitude exhibited and the economic policies implemented by administration in which Atiku Abubakar served, attracted Nigeria’s creditors to write off its debt and offer the nation a new lease of life. Sadly, today, we are thrown back into the debt quagmire, but these problems are not beyond solutions. Nigeria will prosper again under the leadership of Atiku Abubakar, by the grace of God and by the good support of the good people of Nigeria.

Atiku Abubakar commended the Independent National Electoral Commission ( INEC) for the reform already designed for the 2023 elections.

“There should be full implementation of these reforms without fear orfavorr. Our elections should not be at the mercy of strong men. Every eligible voter should be allowed to cast his vote according to desired preferences.

“The 2023 election should not be treated like the bastardised local government elections where the wish of a Governor or a rulingpartyy prevails. Anationall election is not a voice vote, where one person calls for a division and declares that the ayes have i at his whims.

“Intimidation, violence, compromis, and all other undemocratic practices must be eliminated from the 2023 elections. Atiku Abubakar has always been a firm believer in ideal democracy and he has a record of deepening the democratic philosophy.

A man equipped with good governance experience Atiku Abubakar understands that Nigeria has all it takes to excel regionally, continentall, and globally. He, therefore, offers himself as the translator of the nationalistic desire of a great nation. Together, we can truly build a nation that pursues equity, equality, and emancipation.
